March 1, 2023 – One of the more common requests we’ve received from Mobby users is that sometimes, they would love to move independently without the need for an operator. This is why we’ve developed the Mobby SP, the new self-propelled version of our Mobby that allows passengers to move independently without the need for an operator, while still maintaining the quality and durability our products are known for.

Similar to the standard Mobby, the Mobby SP boasts foldable armrests and footplates, puncture-proof tires, and a special double coating to protect against damage. The patented Link&Go option is still applicable, making it compatible with the e-Mobby and Mobby-Mover for effortless transport integration.

The Mobby SP is compatible with nearly all existing accessory options, including for example luggage racks, seat belts, and nameplates, catering to the specific needs of any location. Additionally, it comes with optional operator-controlled brakes for enhanced security and offers the choice between transparent or custom spoke guards. It’s offered in five standard RAL colors, with the possibility of custom color coatings to match your brand. The Mobby SP is designed for both independent and assisted use. Thanks to the large rear wheels with push rims, PRMs can propel themselves if desired. At the same time, the model is equipped with push handles and an operator brake, allowing the chair to be safely pushed and full control to be taken when necessary. This flexibility makes the Mobby SP particularly suitable for environments where both independent mobility and assistance are required.

Our products are designed for comfortable and safe transportation of persons with reduced mobility over short distances. Sitting during transition periods or transfer moments is certainly possible, such as during short waiting times or transfers.
