Key Lock
Key-Operated SecurityThe Key Lock is one of several lock accessories available for Mobby chairs. This lock secures the brake handle in an upright position, preventing the release of the brakes and unauthorized use of the chair. The keys required to release the lock are provided with the purchase.
Simple Security for Authorised Access
The Key Lock is mounted on the pushing rod of the Mobby and can be rotated upwards. Using a key, the lock’s pin is rotated 90° to block the brake handle, preventing its vertical movement and keeping the brakes on the back wheels fixed. Even when locked, the Mobby unit can still be moved or collected using the Link&Go feature. In this mode, the back wheels are lifted, and the Mobby moves on its caster wheels, maintaining flexibility in its usage. This way, it will not interfere with the collection operation within your company, just unauthorised usage.
Key-Based Operation
The Key Lock is operated with a physical key, provided upon purchase. Special Mobility coordinates key distribution to suit your company’s needs, with the standard offering being two keys per Mobby unit—a main key and a spare. Alternatively, master keys can be issued to your operators, allowing them to operate the Key Lock on any Mobby within your company.
